Literal Camp NaNoWriMo is Saturday, October 18th
November is National Novel Writing Month — NaNoWriMo. Join NaNo dreamers from all over at the beautiful forested Girl Scout camp in the woods of Northern Michigan, outside Traverse City. Create or fine tune your writing plans as you sit by the fire and enjoy the wildlife.
The gathering will also feature helpful sessions to get you writing your novel:
- The Hero Sequence
- Character and Plot Development
- World Building
Sessions run from 9am-5pm, but there is an option for free overnights on Friday and Saturday for those traveling or looking for additional fellowship — just bring your own linens (and you must be 18 or with a parent).
After breaking at 5pm, join your fellow writers at a local restaurant, and conclude your evening at Brilliant Books for the Michigan Writers Dunes Review Kick-off Party at 7pm.
