The Anne-Marie Oomen Prize for High School is for students in grades 9 - 12 that live in Michigan, north of the Grayling line. Past years' winners include students from high schools in Glen Arbor, Ishpeming, Leland, Northport and Traverse City. The deadline each year is 15 April. Prizes for the first three places are $100, $50 & $25 and publication in the summer edition of the Dunes Review.
Poets may submit up to three poems of no more than forty lines each. Each poem should be accompanied by a cover letter including the title of the poem, the poet’s name, address, phone number, e-mail address and school. Please also include an SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope) and a $10 entry fee. All submissions will be considered for publication, and all contestants will receive a complimentary issue of the summer Dunes Review. Send submissions to: Dunes Review, AMO Contest, 19778 S.
