Our members are an intriguing mix of writers and readers, professionals and amateurs, who love fine writing in all its forms. We include teachers, publishers, novelists, retirees, doctors, stay-at-home parents, freelance journalists, and web designers. And we’d be delighted to include you!

Membership in Michigan Writers puts you in touch with your peers with whom you can share ideas and inspiration at membership meetings and events. You are also welcome to join one of our writers groups that meet regularly to provide members with feedback and support.
Only members are eligible to submit to our Cooperative Press, receive a FREE subscription to the Dunes Review, and apply for Michigan Writers scholarships to select writers conferences. Your participation and input will help make Michigan Writers an even stronger, more exciting community.
