And she’s bringing back one of our long in-demand workshops, her Poetry Boot Camp, for a necessarily limited run.

Our theme and focus for this three week session is the poem’s meaning. The poem as meaning. What are we writing about? (And why?) Is the significance communicated? How do we handle the urge (and pitfalls) of abstractions? What can we do instead? We’ll look at examples of poems whose meanings are offered in a variety of interesting ways, then write some of our own. Let’s harness our capacity to make meaning with language pattern, form.
