Longtime Michigan Writers member, leader and presence Holly Wren Spaulding relocated to Massachusetts, but she’s back (although temporarily) in July! And she’s bringing back one of our long in-demand workshops, her Poetry Boot Camp, for a necessarily limited run.
Marla Kay Houghteling, a Michigan Writers member, will conduct a workshop “Writing Poems from the World in Front of You” at the Bay View Association (a Chautauqua on Lake Michigan) on July 9, 11, 16, 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. The sessions will include using model poems as guides for writing one’s own poems by drawing on observation and memory.
