Poetry class! Former Dunes Review editor Tanya Muzumdar will be teaching English 215: Introduction to Poetry during the winter semester 2019. Class starts on Tuesday. The agenda is set for the November 2-4 Word Lovers writing weekend at Lakeside: FRIDAY, 6:30 PM: Dinner followed by "reverence discussion" and project brainstorming. SATURDAY, 8:30 AM: Breakfast, morning meditation, Deanna Adams' The Pleasures, Perils, and Perseverance of Being a Writer, and a critique session. SATURDAY, 1:00 PM: Afternoon stretch, lunch, and a discussion of The Writing Life: Writers on How They Think and Work by Marie Arana. SATURDAY, 8:00 PM: Open microphone readings.
